Kaizen 改善

A Japanese term I recently came across, ‘change for the better’. The term highlights the importance of consistently applying small incremental changes towards your goal in order to achieve significant improvements over time.

I try to remind myself of this daily and named this perfect bracelet to represent Kaizen. Whenever I feel overwhelmed by big tasks ahead, taking everyday micro-actions, no matter how small those actions may seem is progress. It is these baby steps that led to launching this small but special accessory brand in 2020.

Gratitude and Appreciation

Here in the west, we forget to stop and take a minute to appreciate all the comforts in our daily lives, the privilege of waking up everyday in a warm and comfortable bed, a safe environment, a steamy hot shower, the time we spend with loved ones.

Gratitude and appreciation are some of the highest vibrational frequencies we can attain, sustaining these feelings can sometimes be challenging.

This morning, I thought about how peaceful the tweets of birds are, reminding me it’s a new day, another opportunity to continue my journey of personal and spiritual growth.

Take one minute of each day to journal at least one aspect of your life that you are grateful for, no matter how small it may be, someone else can only dream of your everyday comforts.
